Moderation Policy
Last Updated: September 14, 2026
Oakgen uses automated text and image moderation and underlying model-provider safety controls to reduce misuse. Authorized personnel may review reports and suspected violations. Sexual content, child sexual abuse material (including synthetic material), exploitation, and the other uses listed in our Acceptable Use Policy are prohibited.
The controls available vary by tool, media type, and provider. Automated checks can make mistakes and do not guarantee that every upload or generated output is reviewed or that all prohibited content is detected. Our use restrictions apply even when a check does not flag content.
1. Automated Controls
- Pre-provider prompt and reference-media moderation through Oakgen's automated moderation checks.
- Uploaded-image and reference-image checks on supported generation paths.
- Provider-level safety systems from underlying AI model providers.
- Checks before model submission on generation routes that integrate Oakgen moderation. Where a required check cannot complete, these routes refuse the request.
- Abuse-event logging for blocked, flagged, or suspicious requests.
2. Human Review
Authorized personnel may review flagged events, user reports, public shared content, repeated violation patterns, chargeback or fraud signals, legal requests, and cases involving real-person likeness or voice misuse.
Review is used to enforce our Acceptable Use Policy, protect users and third parties, comply with law, respond to payment or provider compliance requirements, and improve safety systems.
3. Actions We May Take
- Block a prompt, upload, request, output, or share link.
- Refuse to return or publish an output.
- Remove violating content from public sharing surfaces.
- Restrict high-risk tools, models, or account capabilities.
- Issue warnings, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate accounts.
- Preserve and disclose relevant information where required by law or necessary to prevent harm.
4. Reports and Appeals
Users and third parties can report suspected violations at safety@oakgen.ai. Include the content URL or share link, the account or creator if known, and why the content appears to violate our policies. Do not attach suspected child sexual abuse material; send a link or identifying details instead. If your content was restricted and you believe it was a mistake, contact the same address with the relevant generation or account details.
